• Choir's gift returned over 100 years later

  Choir members are thrilled to have found an historic clock that they knew nothing about.The clock was specially built for the Penrhyn Choir who sailed to Chicago to take part in the 1893 World Fair. This was a huge undertaking at the time, involving several weeks sailing accross the Atlantic. The quarrymen who attended the Eisteddfod at the World Fair were from poor families, and one of the quarry's managers helped raise the funds to send the men to Chicago. The clock was the choir's way of thanking the manager, Mr W. Gray for his hard work.

• St John's Church, Llandudno

  The choir is very proud to be entertaining audiences at St John's Church, Llandudno again this year, this is the fourth year for the choir to sing at the weekly Thursday evening choir concerts.

• New CD

  We are in the process of recording a new CD, using the recordings we have made at Maida Vale, we hope to be adding new pieces to include recording with various musicians, watch this space for further news.
